A former leading fashion model at 5'10'' tall. Carey was an a fan favorite of top American designers, including Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. In 1979, the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists elected the father of her Scientist of the Year. Carey has lived across the globe due to his profession. The model began modeling for a part-time basis during her time attending college at University of Colorado and caught the attention of an agent from the Ford model Agency in New York. She lived in France briefly, in Paris as well as Bordeaux. Then she returned to New York for her college studies and to further develop her modeling career. As she modeled as she studied at a full-time level for a literary major at New York University. In time, she began to become interested in acting and studied at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York. The year 1986 was the year she had her first acting role which was a part of Club Paradise, with Robin Williams. When she is not working she loves skiing, windsurfing, climbing rocks and whitewater river rafting.
