Melissa Suzanne George, an australian actress, businessperson and model who also is an inventor and model. Melissa George started out her career as a model and actor in the Australian market, and then moved to Hollywood. An alumna of the city of Perth George began her journey in dancing and artistic roller skating. Her modeling career began in her teens. She took home the Western Australia Teenage Model Year 1992. In an episode of Seven Network's soap opera Home and Away, she made her debut on screen in the following year. Her film debut was in Dark City. Later, she landed parts in supporting roles, such as Alias The Limey in Down with Love. Finally, in The Amityville Horror 2005 remake she became the first female protagonist in a Hollywood major production.
