Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on the 10th of March, 1958, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to the accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die maker also a former worker at a factory Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone started second grade when she was just five. She was considered to be gifted in the academic area. She graduated from Saegertown High School, located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. Additionally, she participated in Miss Pennsylvania. Miss Pennsylvania pageant and won Miss Crawford County. Stone was able to move together with her aunt from New Jersey, where she pursued a career in modeling. The following month, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. In the end, Stone became disillusioned with the world of modeling within Europe she decided to take up acting in Europe while she was there.
