Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell was born in 1970. She's a five foot nine" tall American actor. Mitchell played Dr. Juliet Burke, a character from ABC's Lost. Gia. Mitchell is currently co-starring on Eric Kripke's TV show Revolution and airs on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell's father is a lawyer in Dallas along with the mother of her character Josephine Marian Mitchell. Mitchell along with her mother and two kids moved from New York in Dallas Texas where Mitchell's mother was married in 1975. Mitchell has graduated from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts which is a magnet public school. Mitchell is the oldest of her three sisters; with the two other sisters being Kristina Kristie Mitchell (the youngest) and Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. In 1991, she graduated from Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and also studying in the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked for six years in Dallas Theater Center and a one-year stint in the Encore Theater. In June 2010 that Emily's part would change during the sixth episode in Criminal Minds. Brewsters' character left the series on March 2011and could come back to the show in the future.
